Honestly, I'm just blown away by Washington Park. To even call it just a "playground" feels like a massive understatement. This place is a whole masterpiece of nature right in the middle of everything. The playground itself is fantastic, don't get me wrong. The kids can run around and have a blast for hours. But the real magic happens when you look around at everything else. The way the light filters through those huge, mature trees is just stunning, and the paths that wind around the ponds are my favorite part. It’s so peaceful to just walk by the water, watch the ducks, and feel like you’ve completely escaped. And that’s the thing – they’ve got it all. You've got the incredible flowers in the botanical gardens that add these amazing pops of color, and then you might hear the bells from the Carillon playing in the distance. It’s the whole vibe. It’s the combination of the happy sounds of kids playing, the serene ponds, and the incredible, lush greenery that makes this park feel so special. It's not just a place to go; it's an experience. It’s a perfect example of how amazing a park can be when it has that perfect blend of fun, nature, and pure beauty. It’s an absolute gem.

Busy, but fun for the kids. They have so much to do there. Two jungle gyms, a standing seesaw, a merry-go-round, swings, a climbing rock, a sand pit with buckets and shovels. It was a very good time for the littles. There is also plenty of space to picnic and the bathrooms were very clean.

A simple park where kids can enjoy. Hope they could bring back the sandy beach in their playground.
